on individuals or life-cycles of threatened species of flora and fauna and
endangered ecological communities or populations.
* Familiarity
with field sampling - both from current environmental survey work e.g. 20
x 20m quadrats using Braun-Blanquet ranked scores for all species - and from
ecological research into distributions of sclerophyllous vegetation types
on the east coast of NSW. Systematic flora and fauna surveys utilising standardised
survey methods.
* Bushfire hazard assessment for new subdivision and infill developments using
guidelines as outlined in 'Planning for Bushfire Protection' (2001) and 'Construction
of Buildings in Bushfire-prone Areas AS 3959-1999' (1999).
